Love my momma!
Just hanging out!
We had such a fun, busy yet relaxing weekend! Justin decided to get off a little early on Friday and we took the little munchkin over to my moms and headed out to harbison. We did a little shopping and then ate at Longhorn's! I hadn't eaten there in YEARS and it was absolutely delicious! :) After that we met my sister over at Columbiana Grande and went and saw Eat, Pray, Love. It was TOO cute! I had read the book about a year ago...and it was difficult to understand because it jumped around so much, but the movie did the book justice (which doesn't happen too often). It was wonderful, but a little long. I was so ready to get back to mom's and pick up my little one!
Saturday morning, we met up with Angelica at IHOP for a quick breakfast before we headed to the church to volunteer! It was so great to see her again!
Waiting at the table for everyone to get there!
I love my Godmother!
She and her husband, Tyler, got married May 22 and Angelica moved to Charlotte. I'm
so glad to have them semi-close by but wish they were still in Lexington! I miss all of our lunchdates! Angelica and Tyler are Chloe's Godparents! They are the best friends anyone could ask for! Chloe sure is a lucky little girl!
We went to the church and helped out with the church mice ministry again! We are getting better at it ;) it didn't take us quite as long this Saturday as it did last!
Saturday night we had my father in law, and Chloe's "b-pa's" 55th birthday party! It was a "fishing" theme and we had a great time! It was nice for everyone to get to meet Chloe! Justin's mom has QUITE a few brother's and sister's and a few of them got to meet little Chloe for the first time! She was such a little angel at the party! I absolutely adore her dress she wore (noah's ark smocked dress)! Mom and I went to the Enchanted Closet in Irmo not that long ago, and absolutely FELL IN LOVE with their stuff!
I love my Noah's Ark dress!
All the "Black" grandchildren! (+1 on the way!)
Mr Buddy's been looking for a boat for quite some time...and he hasn't made up his mind yet on what exactly he wants. Everyone that came to the party got him something fishing or boating related..and then Mrs. Angie put this sign and 2 little toy boats outside. That was her "gift" to him. haha. He is getting a boat in the fall!
Sunday morning we went to church and had a wonderful Sermon! I was nervous because Chloe ate around 6:45 and that means she would want to eat again around 10:45 or 11 and our church service starts at 10:30! I called mom and asked her what I needed to do, so I woke her up around 9:30 and gave her another oz and she slept through church like a perfect little angel! After church we went to The Bistro, in Lexington, and had lunch with Angelica and Tyler before they headed back to Charlotte! It was wonderful to get to see them TWICE in one weekend! We sure are "spoiled" :) We will also get to see them next Sunday because Chloe is getting baptised! :)
It was such a yucky, gloomy, rainy Sunday so we just came home and threw on our comfy clothes and hung around the house! I ran to Target and Walmart to get some groceries and other odds and ends and boy was it PACKED! I totally forgot that it was Sunday before school starts back on Wednesday! What was I thinking...:)
I cooked up some hotdogs and chips (so gourmet..I know) and had mom and Aubrey over for dinner. Me and Justin and Aubrey watched "Date Night" (well...I watched a little of it)...and Mom and Chloe watched "Julie and Julia". It was fun :)
We don't have too much planned for this week! Just hanging out and relaxing! It's supposed to be another rainy day today...So I am thinking we will stay in our PJ's and have a "mommy-daughter" day! :) Hope everyone has a blessed week!
