Back to June 21, 2010

I know we are six weeks past Chloe's birth...but I didn't have a blog before she was born, so I figured I'd reminisce (in short details) about my pregnancy and Chloe Lynn's birthday. I was very lucky in my pregnancy and did not gain very much weight and had a pretty easy-going pregnancy. Around 18 weeks, I was put on Terbutaline (brethine) to prevent pre-term labor because I began having really strong and frequent braxton hicks contractions. Luckily...the medicine kept little miss thing in until she needed to enter this world! On Sunday night..June 20 (our 1st anniversary) I stopped taking the meds and headed to the hospital at 4:30 am to start the induction process. My dr. wanted to induce to keep less stress on my body and on Chloe. I got an epidural (best thing EVER...I was definitely wanting to ENJOY my experience..not be a "hero")...and only SIX short hours later and Chloe Lynn entered the world! :) I had the easiest labor I could ever ask for! Praise the Lord! We had SO many wonderful family and friends that came to visit while we were at the hospital. The dear Lord placed us both into such wonderful families~ We are truly blessed!

My wonderful parents got to the hospital at 5 am to keep me company! :)

My in-laws!

My "favorite" sister who so graciously went to my house at 7:00 am to get Lola and take her back to my parents (since she stayed there while we were in the hospital) and then came to the hospital to wait on Chloe's arrival!

My brother in law Jonathan and his wife, Taylor

My sister in law, Judy...who is expecting her second child at the beginning of December! :)

These were just a few of the close family members that were there for us before Chloe arrived! :)

Anyways, we are so blessed to have a healthy baby girl! :) Still have to pinch myself everyday to see if this is "real"! Motherhood is truly amazing and I cannot wait to help raise Chloe as a child of God!
