The Weekend

I Love getting my diaper changed! :)

We had a pretty low key weekend.
Friday, Mom and I went to Invitation Station and ordered Chloe's baptism invites! They turned out SO precious! We also finally got Chloe's birth announcements sent out! I was so pleased with how they look! :) But how could they look bad, with such a darlin' little one on them! Friday night, we went to my cousin Caldwell's 12th birthday party! I can't believe he is almost a teenager! Time sure is a flyin' by!

We came home and had bath time and we played on our playmat! Chloe is really starting to look at things that rattle and move and she LOVES music! I've been turning her mobile on in her crib and she is a little angel while it's playing...Until it stops. Haha. I am thinking of purchasing a music box or something to hook on her crib that you can put CD's in. I've seen some that light up and all so it would give her something to look at as well. If anyone has suggestions on what to get, I'd love to know! Saturday, me, momma and Aunt Ellen went to the church and refilled ALL the pew pads, pencils, offering folders and invitation to join cards! PHEW! What a job that was! Mom and Aunt Ellen signed up to be "church mice" and I thought I'd tag along to help them out. Good thing I did! With three of us working, we got it done in about an hour and a half! Daddy stayed home and watched little munchkin while we did our good deed for the day!

I never realized or thought about how much actually goes into everything each Sunday at church. We have such a large church...and there are so many people who volunteer their time to help put everything together so we have a successful church service on Saturday nights and Sunday Mornings. So glad I could help a little with that ministry!

Mom, Aubrey and I braved Harbison Saturday afternoon for some running shoes and shorts! Volleyball is starting back up for Aubrey, woohoo! (can't wait to take Chloe to some games :))! Saturday night, Momma brought her dinner over and wanted some "one on one" time with Chloe, so we went to Miyabi's! That was the first time I've ever been to the free-standing one in Harbison and it was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!
We've had a pretty low-key Sunday. Mom came over and we headed to church while daddy played hookie and went and played golf. We went and had a yummy meal at Hudson's after church and then came home and cleaned all afternoon!

I can't believe how much laundry we've accumulated! How does ONE TINY LITTLE BABY have SO many clothes! Anyways, I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

** Please say a prayer for my momma as she goes to have a SIX hour Nuclear Stress Test tomorrow! Hoping she won't have to have another heart surgery!
