What do you do with your time? (Random Post)

During my "quiet time" this morning while Chloe was napping..I got to thinking about things. I got to thinking about how much daytime TV I watch, how many blogs I read, how much I am on facebook, and how much I do all these other random, not important things. How often do I actually open up my bible and just READ it? While there is NOTHING wrong with reading Blogs (most of the blogs I read are faith-based and very inspirational), and catching up with old friends over facebook, or watching some TV every now and then....I really need to spend my time doing things that are a little more important and have a lot more meaning in my life. I definitely need to start prioritizing my time and putting what is important FIRST. I am feeling quite guilty when I put it into perspective. While I do read my bible and I look up scriptures, etc. when I am having a sad day or need to give encouragement to others...I still do not spend the time I SHOULD reading His word. I have really been reading a lot of faith-based books lately, and a lot of parenting books, but I really need to focus more on the bible itself.

While I try to go to church EVERY Sunday, pray every day (numerous times), go to small group/bible study, and read my bible...I feel like I need to do more. Does anyone else feel that way? Justin and I were talking about starting to do a daily devotional. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I pray with Chloe everynight before I go to bed (because daddy gives her her last, nighttime bottle)...I cannot wait until she is old enough for us to have a little routine that includes reading bible stories/scriptures and teaching her all about her Savior.

We are in a pretty good routine now. Chloe gets up around 715...we change her diaper and she eats around 7:30. She usually falls asleep around 8:30 or 9 and sleeps until 11:30. She then wakes up and eats again (she is currently eating about 5.5 oz every 4 hours). After this she usually stays up for a little while longers and sleeps a short while again. (What can I say...the girl likes her naps ;)) Then she is up and eats again around 3:30 and stays up until daddy gets home at 5:15. I usually have dinner ready and on the table when daddy gets home (granted Chloe isn't too clingy so Mama can cook ;)). Then She usually stays up and eats again around 7:30. After her 7:30 pm bottle she gets her bath and then likes to hang out on her playmat and play with mama and daddy. She usually falls asleep around 9 and then gets back up around 11:30 to eat a few more ounces (usually 3) and then is out for the count for the night....And it all starts over again.

I love this life that I am living right now and wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING in the entire world. I am truly blessed to be able to stay at home with her right now. I am not sure how long we will be that lucky, but I am cherishing every waking moment with me staying home with her! :) What a blessing she is!

I know this is such a random post, but little bit is napping and I had some things on my mind... :)

My mom (Chloe's MiMi) bought her a cute little pair of halloween jammies..I washed them and put them in the closet. I was looking through the closet yesterday and realized that I may better try them on her because they looked like they wouldn't fit her in another month when Halloween rolls around...well, I was right. We have a LONG little girl on our hands! All of her footed pj's and one piece outfits are stretching because she is so long. As much as I cannot STAND orange, she does look PRECIOUS in it! ;)

My little pumpkin!

Getting in the holiday spirit!
