Justin has had a bad eye infection for a while now that causes his eye to hurt when light hits it and all so he didn't want to get out and do too much this weekend. Friday night, mom and I met up with Angelica and her mom and we went to see "You Again"! It was TOO cute! Definitely a girly movie, so it was great I got to go see it with my mom. Daddy stayed home with little bit and they had some bonding time together ;)
Saturday I had some errands to run so I went and met mom at IHOP for some Pumpkin pancakes! YUM! They are SO delicious! I just love the fall! We went to TJ Maxx so I could get a giftcard for my sister in law's birthday, and I got Lola a matching halloween costume to Chloe's. I can't wait to get some pictures of them together. I also got some cute little fall decorations for a great deal!
Saturday night, we went to our friend's Cruz and Taren's "renewal of their vows". They got married last December in a very small ceremony, so they had a renewal and a big reception. It was great to see everyone, but we couldn't stay long because of Justin's eye...and the Carolina game was on, so we wanted to get home to catch some of that...Maybe we should've just stayed at the wedding ;). Justin was NOT a happy canper after the outcome of that game. I decided to go watch the 2nd half in the bed since Chloe was sleeping...I can NEVER get in bed to watch TV without falling asleep...so Justin woke me up with the sad news of the loss.
Sunday morning we went to 9 o'clock church and then breakfast at Lizard's Thicket. We were supposed to go to my sister-in-laws birthday dinner, but we didn't make it..Justin's eye had been bothering him and my eye started bothering me, so we were afraid it may be contagious. We would NOT have wanted to give it to our nephew who is about 17 months old. Luckily my eye is not bothering me anymore, and Chloe never got it. Justin went back to the doctor yesterday morning for one last "check-up" and everything looked better, but not completely healed. He cannot wear his contacts for a while now! I had a babyshower to go to Sunday afternoon, for a friend who is having a little boy in late October! It was such a change of pace to see BLUE...since I've been so used to pink for so long now ;)
Yesterday, Chloe took her first trip to the mall! I know it's crazy to think she is over 3 months old and we JUST took her to the mall, but we have had no reason to go lately. It's so nice to have walmart and Target and all those stores close to home in Lexington. She is NOT a fan of her carseat, and *shocker*, she is NOT a fan of her stroller. AGH! So I ended up pushing around the stroller and carrying the baby. Not an easy task while trying to shop. Luckily mom and grandma were there to help! I got some cute things! I haven't been shopping for MYSELF in forever, so it was nice to go looking for myself some new things!

Today me and my little sugarlump are just hangin' at the house and planning to go to my sister's volleyball game tonight. It's a big rivalry game against WK! Hoping they can pull it out.

I know exactly what you mean about not liking the stroller and car seat and I can't tell you how many times I've been pushing the stroller and holding Ellasyn! But hopefully, Chloe will be like Ellasyn and it'll grow on her! She now is better in both, I wouldn't say she necessarily LIKES them but you know! :)
