Our little family on Labor Day at Grandma's for some RIBS :)
We had a great week! It was so nice having daddy home TWO extra days this week...Obviously, Monday was Labor Day (and he DEFINITELY deserved to have that day off..such a hard worker ;)), then Thursday he took the day off to get some stuff done and organized to get started on his CPA exam. Please keep him in your prayers and he begins this LONG journey towards the CPA. I know it has to be so hard working ALL day long, coming home to your family, eating dinner real quick and then studying for a few hours before bed! NOT the way i'm sure he wants to spend his evenings, but he really needs to get it done and OVER WITH!
Tuesday, I cooked up a Spaghetti Meal, Salad, Bread, Canteloupe, and Brownies and took it over to Bridgette and Rick and Mara Mae. She was SUCH a cutie and still SO TINY! I cannot believe that Chloe is double her weight and is almost THREE months old! My how time flies'! It was great to catch up with old friends and we hope to do it again soon. I'm so glad that so many of my friends have had babies around the same time, so they can grow up and go to school together. Sweet memories!
Wednesday we met up with my friend Wendy and her baby boy, Andrew at Fatz for lunch. It was DELICIOUS and the babies were great ;) (until it was time to load little bit up in the car seat...still such a struggle! She is def. NOT a fan of being strapped in, but can I blame her?) Wendy and Andrew came back to my house for a few hours after lunch to catch up. It was great talking and catching up! It seems life is so crazy, busy these days! Wendy starts her new job as an RN at Lexington Medical Center on Monday, so we are really excited for her! :) Praying she does well leaving her baby boy (he's in good hands with her mama) and she enjoys getting some "adult interaction"!

Little Andrew!

Playin' with the frog!
That afternoon we did a whole lot of cleaning and cookin'! It seems the laundry is never ending these days ;) I just LOVE folding little baby clothes, though! SO tiny!
Chloe's new "favorite" thing to do is stick her fists in her mouth! You would think she is hungry when she's doing it, but she's starting to do it ALL the TIME! It's so cute ;)

Lovin' those hands!
Thursday, Justin stayed home and had some daddy/daughter time in the morning while mama went to Bible study! I just love the women in my study. Such a great group of Godly women to fellowship with outside of Sunday Service. Jus worked on his CPA stuff pretty much the rest of the afternoon.
Yesterday, Aubrey and I went to chick-fil-a for lunch and then went to see "Going the Distance"! I advise everyone NOT to go see it unless you like vulgar movies with a TON of curse words! It was HORRIBLE! I had never seen the previews, but Aubrey said she did not think it was going to be that way! It was horrible. We left with about 45 minutes left in it...What a waste of $7.50! I figured most all of Drew Barrymore movies are pretty good, but this one was definitely a disappointment. I felt like I needed to go home and take a shower after it! YUCK!

Auntie Aubs and little bit
Last night we went and met up with mom and Aubrey at Groucho's! It was yummy, as always!
I have been SUPER productive today! Don't ya' just LOVE that feelin'? I got up this AM...fed little bit, took a shower, went to Target for formula and diapers, went to Kohl's for a birthday gift, went to wal-mart for grocery shopping..came home..fixed Hotdogs and pasta salad for lunch, made some brownies...put Chloe in her Carolina gear and watched the game (and what a GAME it was :))!

My little gamecock in her adorable dress Katie made~!

Mama and her girl
We just put some Chili on the stove and are watching football the rest of the afternoon :) My kind of weekend! (Can you tell we are SO ready for FALL weather!?)
Tomorrow, we are planning to go to the 9 o'clock contemporary service and then brunch with some of my mom's extended family who came in from Georgia for the game (Sorry ;))
Then tomorrow evening, we have our niece Savannah's 6th birthday party! I remember HER being 6 months old and now MY baby is almost three months old! Crazy!
I hope everyone else has had a wonderful weekend so far :) We are SO blessed!
Until next time...
