Bible Study

Hey Y'all...

Just an idea...Ashleigh McDonald and I attend a small group bible study at our church (Mt. Horeb UMC) and it has grown to be rather large (around 25 people)...It is definitely not "small" and there are people of different ages and seasons of their lives. We were approached by the leader of our small group about possibly branching off and starting a group of our own of young wives and young mothers. There are also a few members of our group who are attending a new church being held at Pleasant Hill Elementary so they are going to branch off as well and start their own group. It is so nice that our church is helping to get them on their feet.

If anyone would like to come check out our group..we would LOVE it. We have 2 more weeks of our current study (Forgotten God, by Francis Chan) and then we will begin a new study either related to marriage or parenting. We haven't quite decided yet.

We meet on Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:30 and our church provides free childcare. It is really a great opportunity to get more involved and center your life around the Lord.

If anyone has any ideas of good studies...please let us know. Our current small group leader is going to give us some choices as well. Thanks!

Also...A prayer request: A lady in our small group is currently 21 weeks pregnant and is having some problems and has been put on bedrest. Please pray for her and the baby as they go through this difficult and scary time! Her name is Jaimee! Thanks so much!
