Lauren and Justin plus one....MORE!: He Is Risen!!!!

We had such a wonderful Easter Weekend!

Good Friday was such a gloomy day, but seemed to be fitting for the occassion. The day Jesus was crucified to wash away all of our sins! How appropriate!

Justin had the day off, but he spent the majority of it studying at the library! We met up with some family friends to have lunch, and then my parents, and Chloe and I headed over to my Aunt Sandra's house. She was having a get together for family and friends because my Cousin, Jessica and her husband Perry were bringing their NEW baby girl to South Carolina for the FIRST time! I cannot believe I didn't have my camera and didn't get any pics! Ella was 7 weeks old on Saturday! We had a delicious Spaghetti dinner and spent most of the day and evening there. Poor Chloe had NO nap all day Friday, so by the time it was time for bed...she wasn't having it. We had an up and down kind of night ;)!

Saturday was a jam packed day, as well! The Aunts in the Dooley fam (mom included) hosted a shower for Jessica and Ella. Jessica didn't find out the gender and since she lives in Florida, they waited until after the baby was born, that way everyone could meet her as well. It was a nice shower and the weather was gorgeous! We had lunch with my parents at Hudson's after the shower and we came back to the house for Justin to study! While he studied some, I sat outside and read some more of my book. It was SUCH a beautiful day! That night, we headed over to Judy and Cayle's to celebrate our Godson, Noah's SECOND birthday! I cannot believe he is TWO! I feel like we were just at the hospital when HE was born! It was a lion king themed party and was a good time!

Sunday, of course...was EASTER! Chloe's FIRST EASTER was wonderful! We got her up and let her "open" her Easter basket. She loved everything, especially her books! We went to the contemporary service at church and then went over to my parents for a light breakfast and for the "easter bunny" to give us our goodies! Mom WAY outdid herself for Chloe. As Aubrey said "Did the Easter bunny come or was that SANTA CLAUSE" haha. After that we headed over to the Blacks for Easter Lunch. We had a traditional turkey meal and it was delicious. We had a fun little easter egg hunt and then headed home for daddy to study a little more. Chloe and I took a long, MUCH NEEDED, Sunday afternoon nap. Once we got up, we headed over to my grandparents for Easter dinner. We had a wonderful ham meal, and a little easter egg hunt. Chloe found 16 eggs ;) All filled with coins that we put in her piggy bank! We made a quick exit after dinner for Jus to come back to study just a little more!
