Slacker

I have been SUCH a slacker with this blog. With the holidays, being EXTREMELY tired, and having a MOBILE 9 month old...I've had little time to blog...Or should I say, when I've had the TIME to blog, I don't WANT to blog, but to close my little eyes!

I cannot believe how fast time is flying by! My munchkin just turned 9 months old! At her well-visit, Dr. Guyton said she was looking great! She weighed 19lb 11 oz (60th percentile) and was 29 inches long (92nd percentile)! She is growing like a weed!

Some new things she's learning:

- She is pulling up on EVERYTHING now!
- She is a crawling machine! No stopping her!
- She can take a few steps while she's holding your hand!
- She is a "pro" at falling! she catches herself and rarely ever hits to where it hurts her!
- She has her 8 front teeth, and just got her first bottom MOLAR yesterday! (We DEF. have an early bloomer on our hands)
- She is eating a fruit/oatmeal or cereal for breakfast along with a bottle, then another 4 oz bottle, then lunch (half a fruit and either half a veggie or a meat/veggie), then a bottle in the afternoon, dinner (same as lunch) and then another bottle or two throughout the day! She has def. cut back on her formula intake with increasing her baby food intake
- She can say many words now! She says Mama, DaDa, ByeBye, Hey, Lola...and mumbles a few other things ;)
- She is a not a good girl in church anymore. She loves to chat with everyone, especially during the prayer and sermon! (I am still not ready to take her to the nursery!)
- Her hair is getting super thick!
- Still has green eyes, but they're starting to get flakes of brown in them!

We are SUPER blessed to have SUCH a healthy and happy, growing baby girl! I cannot believe it will soon be time to plan for her FIRST birthday! Craziness!

Other shananigans going on in the Black household:

- I am still leading my Monday night bible study. I think I've decided to either not lead anymore once this one completes, or I will go back to leading during the morning! (it's just stressful and hard to leave Justin and Chloe at night during the week)

- Justin has just started the Becker CPA review course! It is from end of March until the end of August! It is definitely time consuming, but will be WELL worth it once he completes it and becomes a CPA. I don't enjoy going to bed alone while he studies, but it's the price we have to pay I guess ;)

- We've had a few "baby" doctor appointments thus far, and have been SUPER blessed to hear a healthy heartrate!

- We find out on THURSDAY if we are thinkin' PINK or BLUE! :) We can't wait to find out if Chloe will have a brother or sister!

- We got our crib last weekend and I cannot wait to get started on the room once we find out the sex!

Just asking everyone to keep us in your prayers and we go for our BIG ultrasound and pray that everything looks HEALTHY!

Our little Lola is getting "fixed" on Tuesday, so also, please keep her in your prayers that she recovers well and QUICKLY!

That's about it :) I am going to TRY to get back into the swing of things and start blogging again on a REGULAR basis! Have a blessed week!

Here are a few new pics:
