Super Slack!

I am still alive and kickin', but boy have I been slack! We have had a busy few months in the Black household. We signed a contract and began building our very first house! We took Chloe to the beach for a week for the FIRST time!, we celebrated our girls' FIRST BIRTHDAY!, and we are exactly ONE MONTH away from welcoming our baby BOY to the family! Whew! No wonder I haven't been blogging on a regular basis!

Just a recap....

We had talked about houses for a while, and finally bit the bullet and decided we were ready. We signed a contract at the end of May (I believe) and things are starting to get underway right now. They are currently working on the framing and we hope to be in the house sometime the beginning of September! Bring on the boxes and packing tape!



Back at the beginning of June, we went with my mom's side of the family for the week to Hilton Head. It was so much fun and Chloe is DEFINITELY a water baby! She had a blast and couldn't get enough of the ocean! I can't wait for many more beach trips with BOTH of my babies!



On June 21, we celebrated Chloe Lynn's FIRST BIRTHDAY! I cannot believe our baby girl is already a YEAR OLD! Where did the time go? Crazy to think how much she has grown and changed in such a short amount of time. I need to sit back and cherish the good AND bad times, more than I do, because boy does it fly by!



And lastly, our little baby boy that is busy cookin' in my belly, is due to arrive exactly ONE MONTH from today (August 22)! Wahoo! I am a little anxious about how I'm going to be able to handle TWO babies under TWO (well....2 at 14 months apart!), but I am so excited and looking forward to the challenge! I am also ready to see my feet again and see this sweet baby boys' face :)

I am going to try to make it a POINT to post at LEAST once a week! I wish I had someone to hold me accountable to that ;) I hope everyone has a good weekend! We don't have TOO many plans this weekend! (Just the way I like it)...

***Also, just asking everyone to continue to pray that this last month the baby will grow and remain healthy and MOVE around so I have some reassurance that everything is A-OK in there ;)
